Bloom City was conceived and created for one of the most reputed luxury retail addresses, Phoenix Market City, Mumbai as a tribute to the Spring Summer fashion season 2016 with an imaginative “floral” journey with installations & selfie zones across 2.1 million sq ft. Each inspired by maestro artists who have painted the Spring season in some of its finest colors.
The “Blossom Blessings” floral arches were inspired by Oscar- Claude Monet's ‘Garden at Giverny’. The principal atrium installation “Flower Power” was inspired by Frida Kahlo, the legendary Mexican painter who will remain a vision in flowers. The sunny vibe of Spring was brought out through an installation called “Sunny Side Up” inspired by Vincent Van Gogh and his quintessential Sunflowers. The list went on to include the Origasmic Birdcage inspired by Severin Roesen and his abundant fruit and flower still-lifes, the Le Rose piece (Renoir's Impressionist movement), Dublin Square's Spring on a Plate (Italian maestro Giuseppe Arcimboldo) and Floramotion(Edouard Manet's Still Life Chrysanthemums).
Imagine Spring as an ensemble.
